Congratulations boys! You were a great credit to the school and it was a real pleasure to hear you sing both in rehearsal and in concert. Many thanks too to those parents who met us at the arena. We hope it won't be too long before we hear the choir sing again

Fifty five of our year seven students helped to raise the roof of the Echo arena at the festival of Olympic and Paralympic Sports in Liverpool.

Two year eight boys were invited to take part in the festival parade whilst our newly formed choir joined with other schools to sing out to mark the opening of the Olympic event. One of our sixth form students, Luke Barnes, played a magnificent opening fanfare with the Saturday morning music ensemble.

We were also proud to see one of our year eight boys, Daniel Sale, who was inspiring other young people to participate in trampolining as an activity. Also on hand were a number of Liverpudlian Olympians who shared their experiences, hopes and dreams with the huge crowd that had assembled.
